Drive Backup 7.0

To make the most common operations easy special Wizards where implemented into Drive Backup. Wizards guide you through the set of screens, each containing one simple question with list of few answers, and initiate the required operation.

At time Drive Backup offers the following wizards for your convenience:

Backup Wizard is the main wizard to backup an entire hard disk or a part of it (separate partition). The Backup Wizard allows you to save your backup archives to local or network drives, to physical partitions (without drive letters assigned), or to burn them directly to CDs/DVDs. It provides different levels of compression; password protection; bootable backup images when writing to CDs/DVDs; supports the Paragon HotBackup technology.

Incremental Backup Wizard is intended for performing incremental backups. Choose the backup image you wish to update, specify other parameters and enjoy.

Hard Disk Copy Wizard performs the operation of hard drive cloning. It allows to choose the source disk and the target one (the content of the target disk will be ovewritten automatically), providing several options of copying mode, resize function (remove free blocks between partitions; resize partitions proportionally), verification tests (including the Surface test and the Writing Verification test). In 7.0 version of Drive Backup solution this wizard got the HotCopy mode.

Partition Undelete Wizard allows to restore some accidentally deleted or lost partition. It displays a tree-like list of available disks and their partitions to specify the block of a free space to analyze. You could define wide variety of search criteria, however, the most thorough search (yet taking much time) will give you the better results. And in spite of the fact, that some partitions could be destroyed completely, Drive Backup will do the best to restore your data.

Simple Restore Wizard is included into backup image when you choose it to be bootable. It allows you to boot from the DVD/CD even when your system is unbootable and perform all steps necessary for recovery. This Wizard is also used by Recovery Media Builder while creating the standard recovery media.

Please note also, that wizards are easy-to-use, however, the functionality of the program is not limited with their possibilities: there are also many advanced features available through the program menus.
