HotBackup solution by Paragon creates an image of running operating system without interrupting it.

Wizard-driven interface helps you to backup an entire hard disk or a separate partition (even a system or locked one). With the help of Paragon specific non-plug-and-play driver that analyses "write" system calls onto physical device.

With a single operation you can backup any combination of hard disks and partitions on your computer. The backup archives can be saved to local or network drives, to physical partitions (without drive letters assigned), to CDs/DVDs directly (with the built-in burner). It is also possible to place them to the Backup Capsule.

Backup archives provides different levels of compression and can be protected by password. When writing to CDs/DVDs, it is possible to make backup archives bootable.

Please note, that data changes performed during the hot backup will not be included into the backup image: it is going to be the snapshot of data at the moment the HotBackup operation was launched. Yet no files will be lost during the backup process.
