Boot Corrector is included into Professional Edition of Drive Backup as an additional problem-solution tool. It is a system utility to resolve various issues of system boot process.

Sometimes your system "refuses" to boot, but you know the quick solution and do not want to restore from backup image. Still you need the access to it. Boot Corrector provides you with the user-friendly interface for fixing main boot problems.

The key advantage of Boot Corrector is that it can edit the Windows™ System Registry without starting the OS (for example, to correct drive letters). It is also useful for other operating systems when common boot problems take place, like an MBR corrupted with a boot virus.

Some features of the Boot Corrector:

Automatically searches for valid Windows installations.

Corrects the System Registry of your dead system.

Corrects the Master Boot Record (MBR).

Edits the Boot.ini file of your dead system.

Corrects partition boot records, modifies partition parameters.

Caution: Do not start to change configuration of your system disks and other until you know exactly what is going to happen as a consequence.
