"Needed a good disk back up product that could do image based backup of Windows 2000 Server and Windows XP on a scheduled basis. We wanted to be able to create complete system images on disk for disaster recovery and bare metal restore to speed up the recovery process. Many of the other backup products are traditional tape based with some capability to do disk based as an add on and the bare metal restore is also an add on. They were expensive and had the tape components in which we didn't need. Drive Backup Server is providing us with daily full complete system backups to aid in quick system recovery should the system fail. We have multiple course of action that we can now take for recovery. It is very handy that the drives can be moved to another system with Paragon Drive Backup loaded and have the images mounted. If we had a catastrophic failure, we could mount the data images on another system and map them to the network and be back to data available in a very short time."
